About the UAE dirham and the Bangladeshi taka
The UAE dirham (AED) is the currency of the United Arab Emirates, issued by the Central Bank of the UAE. The dirham has been pegged to the US dollar at 3.6725 dirhams per dollar since 1997, so its rate against the dollar does not change.
The Bangladeshi taka (BDT, ৳) is the currency of Bangladesh, issued by the Bangladesh Bank. The taka is managed by Bangladesh Bank, which has moved towards a more market-based rate.
