About the euro and the US dollar
The euro (EUR, €) is the currency of 21 European Union countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain and (since 2026) Bulgaria, issued by the European Central Bank. The euro floats freely and is the world's second most-held reserve currency.

Getting a good EUR to USD rate
